Switching

You can move one thing at a time.

Most people picture a weekend of copying and paying twice. That is not the shape of this.

Switching on one app is a decision you can reverse on a Wednesday afternoon. Moving a whole business is not, so nobody is asked to.

How it goes

  1. Start with one thing

Turn on the one app that is hurting most and leave everything else where it is. Nothing about CustoDesk requires you to move the whole business on a Tuesday.

  2. Bring that one thing's history

Import the list it needs. Everything after that lands on the same customer record, which is the part the old setup could not do.

  3. Add the next one when it earns it

Apps switch on one at a time. If one never earns its place, switch it off again.

If it is on this list there is a screen for it. Anything not on the list, ask before you count on it.

What comes with you

Your customer list

A spreadsheet, with your columns matched to ours on the way in.

Open conversations

A spreadsheet of tickets, with a preview before anything is created and an undo after.

Your reviews

A spreadsheet, or pulled straight from a connected store so the star ratings and photos come too.

Your affiliates

A spreadsheet keyed on the ids your old platform used, so re-running it never doubles anybody up.

Ad spend history

A spreadsheet, so the return on what you already spent is not a blank chart.

Store customers and orders

Connect Shopify once. It brings the history in and keeps it current after that.

Your existing website

Point us at it and the first draft of the new one is written from what is already there.

A page about moving in that says nothing about moving out is only telling you half of what you asked.

And how to leave

One button in Settings downloads your whole workspace as spreadsheets: customers, conversations, invoices, orders, the lot. No request to make, nobody to email, no notice period on your own records. It is the same export whether you are backing up or walking away.

What people ask before they move

How long does a move take?

One app and one import is an afternoon. Moving a whole business is not something you are asked to do in one go, which is why nobody should be quoting you a fortnight.

Will I be paying for two things at once?

Only for as long as you choose to overlap. Because apps switch on one at a time, you can move the first thing, cancel the tool it replaced, and repeat.

What if my old tool cannot export?

Almost all of them can, usually as a spreadsheet, and that is what our importers take. If yours genuinely cannot, ask before you commit to anything.

Will the import create a mess I have to clean up?

The ticket import shows you a preview before it creates anything and can be undone afterwards. The affiliate import is keyed on your old platform's own ids, so running it twice never doubles anybody up.

What happens to the history I bring in?

It lands on the customer record, which is the point. An imported conversation and an invoice raised next week sit against the same person.

And if I want to leave?

Export the whole workspace as spreadsheets from Settings, whenever you like. There is no notice period on your own records.

Four questions, and the demo is filled with your kind of business.
