What comes with you

Move one thing at a time. Nothing here asks you to switch the whole business in a day.

Your contacts

Wix exports contacts as a spreadsheet, and only the site owner can export them. Import it into Contacts, match its columns to profile fields, and tick consent only if everyone in it agreed to email. You can undo an import for 7 days if something looks wrong.

Your website

A Wix site has to run on Wix's servers, so it cannot move as it is. Tell us where it is and we rebuild it on a CustoDesk theme, with your words and photos, on your own domain.

Your members

Wix adds members to your contacts, so they come over with them. The Customer Portal signs people in with a one-time code by email, so no password has to move.

Orders and bookings

Wix exports store and booking orders as a spreadsheet for your records, and CustoDesk has no importer for them. Set your services and products up again, and new orders start here.

When Wix is the better fit

A move only makes sense if CustoDesk does the part you rely on most. These are the cases where it may not.

  • You rely on apps from the Wix App Market, which lists over 800. CustoDesk's apps are all its own.
  • Your site runs custom code built on Velo, Wix's full-stack development platform.
  • You sell digital products, or list your products on Google, eBay, Amazon and Facebook. CustoDesk's store delivers no files and lists nowhere else.

Moving from Wix

Can I bring my contacts from Wix?

Yes. Wix exports contacts as a spreadsheet, and CustoDesk's contact import matches its columns to profile fields. You can undo an import for 7 days if something looks wrong.

Do I have to move everything at once?

No. Turn on one app and keep the rest where it is until you are ready. Apps switch on and off one at a time, so there is no big day.

Can I keep my domain?

Yes. The Websites app includes hosting on your own domain, so the address your customers know stays the same.

Do I pay for each person on my team?

No. There is no charge per person on any app. Everyone on your team is included.

Can I take my site with me later?

Yes. Download it whenever you like, as files that run on any host or as a Shopify theme.
