For Contractors & trades

From the first site visit to the final invoice.

CustoDesk gives contractors and trades one place for the estimate, the crew's day, the hours on site and the books behind it. Quote from the van, run the week off one calendar, and invoice the job the day it is signed off, without typing the same customer in twice.

One job, on the phone that is in the van. The address, the checklist, the photos and the hours are all on it, and the invoice comes off the end of it.

One platform, start to finish

Right now the quote is in one tool, the week is on a whiteboard, the hours are on paper, the books are behind a login somebody else set up, and on a Sunday night one of you types all of it into an invoice by hand.

  1. A homeowner asks for a quote through your website

    Website & Hosting

  2. You price it up, and they approve the estimate from their phone

    Invoices & Estimates

  3. It becomes a job on the crew calendar, with the site address, a checklist and room for photos

    Jobs & Scheduling

  4. The crew clock in on site, and every hour lands on that job

    Time Tracking

  5. Invoice it your way, the quoted price or the hours, and take the card payment

    Invoices & Estimates

  6. The payment lands in a profit and loss that already has the receipts and the miles in it

    Expenses & Books

six steps, five apps, one login. Nothing was exported, nothing was typed in twice, and it stayed the same customer the whole way down.

The apps behind that, and what each one does for you

  • Price the job, send it, and they approve it from their phone. Ask for a deposit before you start, chase what is owed on its own, and take the card payment straight into your own Stripe account.

  • Every job from enquiry to signed off on one board, with the site address one tap from directions, a checklist the crew tick as they go, photos from the van, and the recurring visits already in the calendar.

  • The crew clock in and out from their phones. Every hour lands on the job it was worked on, against that job's labour budget, so you can see what a job really cost you before you decide what to bill.

  • A fast site on your own domain, hosting included, where quote requests land straight in the desk as a customer. Your published reviews show on it without you doing anything.

  • Snap the receipt at the merchant's counter and it fills itself in. Log the miles, categorise into tax buckets, and keep a profit and loss that already counts the invoices your customers have paid.

All of it, switched on together

The Contractors Bundle is exactly the apps on this page, on from your first day and already reading from the same customer list. Nothing to connect, nothing to import twice, and nothing you are stuck with.

Then it grows with you, one app at a time

None of these is something you need on day one. Each is one switch, the day the business asks for it, and it opens already knowing your customers.

  • A job is held up waiting on a signature

    Contracts & eSign

Send the contract or the change order from a template, they sign it on their phone, and the timestamped copy files itself.

  • Word of mouth is most of your pipeline

    Review Platform

Ask for a review when the job is signed off, and the ones you publish show up on your website on their own.

  • Site surveys come back on whatever paper was in the van

    Forms & Checklists

Build the form once. The crew fill it in on a phone and it lands as a customer with the answers attached.

  • You get to the job and the part is not on the van

    Catalog

Parts, materials and labour in one priced list, counted down as invoices get paid, with an alert before you run out.

  • You start paying for leads

    Ad ROI

See which ad every enquiry came from, what it cost you, and whether the campaign made money.

Turn any of them on the day you need it, and off again when you don't. Every app and what it does.

Worth knowing before you sign up

It is just me and a van. Is this too much?

No. Turn on one app and the rest are not in your way: no crew to set up, no roles to configure, nothing on screen for a team you do not have yet. The quote, the job and the invoice in one place is worth it on your own, and the day you take somebody on, they are one invite away.

The crew are in vans all day. Does it work on a phone?

It runs in a phone browser, so there is nothing to install and nothing to keep updated. The parts they need on site are built phone first: the job with its address and checklist, the camera for site photos, and the clock.

Can I start with just invoicing?

Yes, and plenty do. One app is a normal place to start. The rest are one switch away the month you want them, and they open already knowing the customers you have added.

I already have my customers in something else.

Import them from a CSV and they arrive as full customer profiles, ready to quote. Everything after that (jobs, invoices, hours, reviews) attaches to the same profile rather than starting a second copy of the person.

I already do my books somewhere else.

Then leave them there. Expenses and Books is one of the apps you can leave switched off, and the rest of this works exactly the same without it. If you do move over, your paid invoices feed the profit and loss on their own, and everything exports as CSV whenever you want it back out.

What do I give my accountant at the end of the year?

A profit and loss for the period, your expenses grouped into tax buckets with the receipt kept beside each one, your mileage log, and the sales tax you charged against what has actually reached you. All of it exports as CSV.

Do I pay for every person on the crew?

No. Every price is per workspace, not per person, so the whole crew works in every app you switch on. Taking on a labourer or a second van does not change the bill.
