The people in your submissions

Jotform downloads submissions as a spreadsheet, for every entry or a filtered few; choose CSV. Import it into Contacts: names, emails and phones go to profile fields, and any other answer can become a new field. You can undo an import for 7 days if something looks wrong.

Your forms

CustoDesk cannot import a form, so each is built again in Forms, with its logic, file uploads and signatures. Forms has no payment field: take payment with an invoice, a booking deposit or the store.

Past submissions

Keep Jotform's download for your records. CustoDesk has no importer that turns entries into Forms responses, so new responses start here.

When Jotform is the better fit

A move only makes sense if CustoDesk does the part you rely on most. These are the cases where it may not.

  • People pay inside the form itself. CustoDesk's forms have no payment field; payment goes through an invoice, a booking or the store.
  • You need HIPAA compliance. Jotform offers it on its higher plans; CustoDesk does not offer it.
  • Your contracts need several signers in a set order. CustoDesk's contracts have one signer each.

Moving from Jotform

Can I bring my submissions from Jotform?

The people in them, yes. Download your submissions from Jotform as CSV, and CustoDesk's contact import matches names, emails and phones to profile fields and can turn other answers into fields of their own. You can undo an import for 7 days if something looks wrong.

Do I have to move everything at once?

No. Turn on one app and keep the rest where it is until you are ready. Apps switch on and off one at a time, so there is no big day.

Can people pay on a CustoDesk form?

Not on the form itself. Send an invoice they pay by card, or let them book and pay a deposit, both through your own Stripe account.

Do I pay for each person on my team?

No. There is no charge per person on any app. Everyone on your team is included.

Does a busy month switch my forms off?

No. A form stops taking responses only when you set it to, on a date or after a number you choose, and no response is deleted to make room.
