Questions from bakeries
Can customers preorder for a day next week?
Yes. Let them order up to 13 days ahead, and they pick a pickup time from your pickup hours. The order waits on your counter screen for its day.
Can a cake order say what goes on top?
Yes. Give the cake a note with your own question, like What should it say?, and make it required. The answer shows on the order and the counter screen.
Can I take a deposit on a custom cake?
Yes. The inquiry lands on the customer's profile. Send an estimate from there with a deposit, and they approve it online and pay by card into your own Stripe account.
Can I show allergens?
Yes, on your site's menu: tag an item Vegetarian, Vegan, Gluten-free, Dairy-free, Contains nuts or Spicy, and the Menu section marks it. The labels do not show on the product page or at checkout yet.
Can I cap how many of something I sell each day?
Not yet. Keep a stock count and your menu shows Sold out when it reaches zero, but there is no daily limit that resets on its own.
